At B28 apartments each room has a special story to tell, the staircase has a magical universe of its own, each window has a view.
So step in, drop the bags, look outside.
You will see soft angles, a scale of lights and shades, the constant flow of the river, a seagull or two. You might even see what some talented few drew and painted over the centuries, and others photographed for posterity. But as we tend to do things a little bit different here, we thought you might also enjoy to look inside.
From September onwards we are starting a new project. The building might be old but we like to spruce it up and give it something new once in a while. So, starting this month, you may find the Etna volcano standing proudly unstable (Sicilian born and raised after all) in your room, a race car driver trying to avoid a speed limit, an ancient greek statue standing still (it was not a huge effort to achieve), or an empty beach in the Baltic sea which Agatha Christie would love to put Hercule Poirot in.
We're exhibiting a special photo by some of the world's best photographers in a room at a time, so that you can travel with each one of them while you're staying with us. They will be, literally, looking carefully after you. You may find the whimsical Maria Vittoria Trovato, the magical Horst Friedrichs, the glorious Luigi Spina, the ever curious Monica Polcino or the fabulous Valeria Galizzi on a wall of your apartment when you check-in.
They are opening a window to their work which you can enjoy while you're in our company. So sit back, relax, smell the coffee and look closely. And don't worry, we will make sure the Etna stays still.
Poirot we cannot guarantee, he tends to walk around. But be sure his moustache will still be impeccably trimmed.
