Porto was selected the city of this current yearasthe Best City Destinations of the World,

From a list of various cities like "Acapulco, Cancún and Mazatlán; Bogotá, in Colombia; Quito in Ecuador; Cape Town; Nairobi; Dubai, in United Arab Emirates; the north american Las Vegas, Miami and New York; Hanoi in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Melbourne and Sydney, London, Lyon, Marrakech and even Lisbon" as stated in the Porto official website.

It's such a beautiful way for the World to finally know Porto a little more. We are a "little" town in the North of Portugal (not so little but we could say smaller than Lisbon) that is surrounded by ocean, river and city; that is known for the food, for the warm people that embraces everyone, that is the choice of so many digital nomads and foreigner to make this their home as much as it is from Portuenses (known as Porto people).

But it's not the first that we are selected!
A lot of people loves Portugal, Lisbon was even featured in the new doc-series with Phil Rosenthal (writer from serie "Everybody loves Raymond") on Netflix "Somebody Feed Phil: Lisbon".

And Porto has been selected by many people for vacations and getaways like the late Anthony Bourdain who did a whole episode about Porto food and people in "Parts Unknown: Porto".

For now we can't disclose but B28 Apartments was even chosen this summer as a place to enjoy the holidays by a well-known chef (omg i know, the thrill. we tried not to blush every time she said hello) that has a marvelous cooking show on tv *shhh* it's a secret for now.
So you can see that Porto is indeed the best city in the world and in doubt about it from me!

We are B28 Apartments and we are right in the middle of town.

We are located in the historic center, the old jewish quarter of town. This is an amazing building dated in the 16th century that had a little upgrade in the 19th century and was finally restored by us from 2015 until the end of 2017.

It took a while but it was so worth it! All the time spent choosing the best way to tell the story, all the decisions that we had to make (and the ones we had to leave behind), the constant pressure to do a job that we were proud of.
We surely still are so proud - we did a beautiful renovation with the amazing architect José Bernardo Távora, without destroying the history and the lives that lived here as we honor it and cherish what this city is all about. People.
We have five floors and 6 Apartments, all equipped with the basic utilities for you to experience being home away from home .You can see the befores and after in this post.
We have everything, from smaller studios great to accomodate you, a plus one to deluxe Apartments that are made for families. Our values grow from sustainability to simple and comfortable design. We don't want to outshine the best feauture we have - simplicity and elegance. Our wooden ceiling in the top floor gives us the best frame to the Douro river and Miragaia view that makes you believe that magic is real.

Every Apartment has a unique style and even though we use the same elements, in apartment is the same. We chose to have the best in everything and we believe that Portugal has so many great things: all sheets are cotton, the duvets and pillows are feather so it seems like heaven (but we do have non-allergic to accomodate everyone, you can just ask us to switch). We offer amenities like shower gel and shampoo - from 8950, a Portuguese and organic brand!
You also have Portuguese coffee, organic tea, sugar, organic olive oil, everything you need!
Every utensil you'll probably need, a kettle, a french press or mocca for coffee, toaster, pans and skillets, tableware - it's like your home!
