4 Experiences not to be missed in Porto this summer |

It's becoming more and more full of life - be it with the creation of more and more cultural events, music and concerts, events all over the Porto region, museums with the most incredible exhibitions such as Alexander Calder and Joan Miró, classic museums of natural history and science and much more.
Here's a short list of upcoming events in Porto that we're sure you'll love!

1. Serralves em Festa

Serralves em Festa is a contemporary art festival with performing arts, concerts, visual arts, dance, theater, new circus and exhibitions for 50 hours straight. The festival will take place at Fundação Serralves.
It happens every year and this year it will be from May 31 to June 2, another one not to be missed!

2. a drink and sunset in Guindalense

Guindalense is a soccer association with a small café/bar in Fontaínhas. A privileged local with an unobstructed view of the River Douro.
It's one of those popular places in Porto, we love a good tavern where you can sit quietly having a drink, listening to music and enjoying the spring/summer sunset.

3. Primavera Sound Porto '24

This is "that" festival! This is a music festival that connects the nature of Parque da Cidade with a view of Matosinhos beach and great headliners.
Three fantastic days in June, on the 6th, 7th and 8th of June, with in first day with Sza and PJ Harvey closing the night.

4. São João in Porto

The popular festival São João is celebrated on the night of June 23rd to 24th.
It's a typical festival in the city of Porto where in all the different neighborhoods there's a party held by the community. You can find parties, food, carousels and a stage where traditional Portuguese music (also known as pimba music) is played. This is the night where the scent of sardines hangs in in the air, where you can taste Portuguese cuisine with a fantastic mix of sardines, broas, bell pepper salad and boiled potatoes, accompanied by the beautiful 'fino' (a beer in a glass, freshly tapped).
